Privacy Policy

 PanAudit Konnaris Limited (hereinafter “PanAudit”) is a Cyprus incorporated company with Registration Number HE 214300, licensed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Cyprus , with Certificate Number E219/152 Hereby , PanAudit intends to inform its clients and all physical and legal entities directly and indirectly related to PanAudit , how our company handles personal information and how its data protection policies are formed based on the provisions of EU Regulation on the General Date Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) 2016/679 of 27th April 2015, which was fully enforced on 25th May 2018.

As PanAudit provides services that are directly related to its clients’ personal data, the process of this sensitive information falls within the scope of our business relationship with our clients.

At the same time, PanAudit being a service provider is under the obligation to conform with and apply the requirements of other legal provisions, an important part of which concern Anti-Money Laundering framework imposed by relevant European and Local legislation. Hence, the usage of personal data is equally confined by the regulations of such legislation which imposes responsibilities and obligations concerned with Know-Your-Client and Due Diligence procedures.

Therefore, as far as our obligations towards our clients are concerned, personal data may be used and shared to the extent that it is necessary for the provision or any other business connected with the provision of our services, as requested and assigned to us by our clients and in accordance with our clients’ specific agreements and instructions.

Nonetheless, as far as our obligations towards our supervising authorities, we may be required by applicable laws, a court or any governmental, public or supervisory authority to disclose certain personal data.

Having established the above, we will cease to retain any personal data after five years (5) from the time that our relationship with our clients has been terminated or the last transaction for which such personal data were collected. Personal data will be kept with us for longer time where retention is required by any Law or court order or any other obligation under which PanAudit falls as a service provider.

As far as clients’ rights concerned, the client retains the Right to Access, which is more commonly explained as a “data subject access request”. By this notion, clients have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time. Similarly, clients have the right to ask PanAudit to correct any personal data we hold about you.

As clients have also the Right to Erasure, by which clients are able to to ask PanAudit to delete their personal data from our records, this can be denied from our behalf when there is a legal obligation to keep that data, as explained above.

Subject to the same legal restrictions that PanAudit might face by any law or legal body, clients have the Right to Restrict Processing, by which clients are able to ask us to restrict the use of their personal data, Right to object, by which clients are able to object to the collection and use of any personal data, Right to data portability, by which clients are able to request the transfer of Personal Data to another party, Right to lodge a complaint, by which clients are able to lodge a complaint about the use of any Personal Data directly with us or directly with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Here in PanAudit, the safety of your personal data is of crucial importance; therefore we maintain administrative  and technical measures to safeguard the keeping of this sensitive information with antivirus protection, encryption and privacy filters to secure the storage, disclosure and transmission of personal data.

Where such data are requested by us for purposes that fall or may fall outside the scope of instructions received by our clients, PanAudit shall not proceed to give, disclose, copy or send by any means to any parties, individuals, organizations, institutions without further consent by the clients. In principle, PanAudit shall not use personal data for any other purpose than within the scope of services requested by clients but also obligations imposed by AML or national legislation. We have always an open line of communication with our clients and where we consider necessary, we shall communicate with clients and discuss matters accordingly.

Although we attempt all the above with the best of our endeavors, we hereby clarify that no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is absolutely secure, we will not stop trying to provide the best possible security for any personal data by constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.
